About The Position
Euro School of Tennis is seeking reliable, energetic, and positive coaches to teach beginner-level programs to children ages 5–10 (Grades K–5) at schools throughout the Bay Area. The role is in person, and lesson plans and equipment are provided. The goal is to create a fun, active, and supportive learning environment for young players. The posting describes regular coaching opportunities for tennis and other programs, with pay of $18–$24 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule of around 9:00 AM–1:00 PM. Back-to-back sessions may be available. These opportunities are available to coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. Saturday tennis clinics pay $18–$24 per hour and are scheduled on Saturdays and/or Sundays, with back-to-back sessions available for coaches who demonstrate strong tennis and coaching skills. Applicants must already be authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. Applicants must currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work. Requirements
- Be at least 19 years old.
- Enjoy working with children.
- Have strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Have a valid driver's license and personal vehicle.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
- Complete required employment screening and documentation.
- Provide a photo and short biography for the company website.
- Currently live in the Bay Area and be available for in-person work.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.
- USPTA/PTR certification is a plus.
- Strong tennis and coaching skills are specified for the listed regular coaching and Saturday clinic opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Teach classes using company lesson plans.
- Manage groups of 8–16 students.
- Create a safe and positive learning environment.
- Attend a 2-day unpaid training and shadowing session, with sessions lasting 2–3 hours each.
- Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
- Communicate professionally with parents and school staff.
- Take a few class photos for program documentation.
