About The Position

The After School Dance Facilitator teaches dance sessions for children ages 5–10 at elementary schools across the Bay Area. Programs run Monday through Friday between 1:00 PM and 5:00 PM. Coaches typically teach one approximately one-hour class per day, with the possibility of an additional 30 minutes of pre-care. This part-time role involves 2–5 hours of work per week and focuses on creating a fun, energetic, and positive environment for younger and beginner-level students. Pay is listed as $50–$65 per session and also as $50–$65 per hour. Equipment and lesson plans are provided. Coaches must attend a two-day training or shadowing session before starting.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old when applying.
• Must currently live locally and be available for in-person work.
• Must enjoy working with children in a positive and active setting.
• Must be flexible, reliable, and punctual.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be fully vaccinated and willing to complete a TB test and Live Scan background check before starting work.
• Must submit a photo and short biography for the company website and introduce their experience in sports.
• Must already be eligible to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not provided.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in the sport being applied for, coaching, or working with children is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes for students ages 5–10 using provided lesson plans.
• Manage classes of 8–16 students and maintain a positive environment.
• Attend a two-day training or shadowing session before starting.
• Take attendance, manage student sign-ins, and interact with parents and school staff.
• Capture a few class photos for documentation.
• Provide pre-care for an additional 30 minutes when applicable.
