Nontenure Line Faculty Pool - St. David's School of Nursing

Requirements

• Hold a current license or privilege to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Texas
• Hold a bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited baccalaureate program in nursing
• Have the clinical expertise to function effectively and safely in the designated area of teaching. (Recent graduates must have worked at least one year as a full-time RN, or equivalent, under direct supervision of an RN.)

Nice To Haves

• Two years of work experience as a registered nurse in the area designated to teach
• Holding a Master of Science degree in nursing ( MSN )
• Certification in an area of practice specialty, expertise in a focused area of nursing practice (such as OB, pediatrics, adult acute care, emergency department, etc.)
