About The Position

This position is for an Affiliate Faculty member in the Physics & Astronomy department, specifically within the Kent Gee Lab. The role involves completing the submission, revision, and publication of journal articles focused on supersonic jet noise. The successful candidate will be required to relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of their employment. Requirements

  • PhD in Physics and Astronomy (must be completed by the start date)
  • Expertise in jet noise modeling for naval applications
  • Must relocate and/or reside in Utah for the duration of employment
  • Commitment to the Mission of Brigham Young University and the Aims of a BYU Education
  • Support and contribute to the academic and religious missions of the university within the context of the principles and doctrines of the affiliated church.
