Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1–4 years of hands-on mechanical assembly experience (machinery or industrial equipment preferred)
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions
• Solid understanding of mechanical systems, pneumatics, and hydraulics
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Experience with manufacturing and fabrication techniques (welding, soldering, machining, assembly)

Nice To Haves

• Technical or vocational training in mechanical technology
• Experience with custom machinery, automation, or manufacturing environments
• Forklift or overhead crane certification
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and GD&T standards
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation projects
• Willingness to work overtime (up to 10 hours/week)
• Regular engagement in strength or conditioning activities

Responsibilities

• Assemble complex mechanical components, subassemblies, and complete machines using hand and power tools
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and bills of materials for accurate assembly
• Align, fit, and adjust parts to meet precise tolerances and functional requirements
• Install bearings, gears, motors, shafts, conveyors, pneumatic, and hydraulic components
• Perform drilling, tapping, grinding, and related fabrication tasks
• Conduct quality inspections and continuity checks to ensure product standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical assembly issues efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace in line with 5S and OSHA safety standards
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams for continuous improvement
