About The Position

We are continuing to grow! We are currently accepting applications for upcoming 1st Shift Laminator I needs at our Sumner location. The Laminator performs a variety of techniques to laminate composite components according to drawings and Standard Work Instruction (SWI). Responsibilities include Lay-up composite materials on mandrels according to the manufacturing plan and standard work instructions (SWI); wrap mold with composite materials, in preparation for curing process, to form composite parts. Check for accuracy in all prior documentation of manufacturing planning; reporting all discrepancies and schedule concerns to the supervisor. Verify materials being used are according to manufacturing plan. Verify part ID tag and sign off on work performed. Adhere to schedules and time allowances, takt time, for production requirements.

Requirements

  • One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to read and understand detailed instructions and follow demonstrated steps
  • Basic understanding of process specifications
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Basic math and computer skills
  • Must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
