ChroMax Packager / Laminator - 1st Shift
About The Position
This role involves coordinating and working with the Badging Supervisor, Badging Lead, and/or Production Manager to perform various packaging and laminating duties. The position requires processing information from production orders, counting, bagging, and wrapping materials, creating and affixing labels, completing worksheets, and ensuring the job moves smoothly through the production process. Adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations is essential, as is maintaining a clean work area. A key responsibility includes laminating specified adhesive to all parts before laser cutting. The role also involves performing other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be able to read, analyze, and interpret general information pertaining to the job
- Must be able to prepare reports required for the job
- Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Must be able to effectively present information and respond to questions from other employees
- Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Must have the ability to apply information and variables learned from one task, or project, to other similar situations
Responsibilities
- Process information from the production orders
- Count and bag and/or wrap material in quantities required
- Make proper label to affix to the package
- Properly complete worksheets and move the job to the next area of production
- Follow relevant safety/health and environmental regulations
- Clean and maintain work area
- Laminate specified adhesive to all parts prior to laser cutting
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor
