About The Position

The Breakout production employee removes bagging materials and plaster from composite parts. This role is for an upcoming 1st Shift Breakout need at the Sumner location.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand detailed instructions.
Intermediate to advanced math skills.
Capability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.
Able to identify defective materials and parts.
Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.
Must meet (ITAR) export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Using an impact hammer and other hand tools, removes plaster from inside of composite parts.
Removes bagging materials from cured composite parts.
Performs surface preparation, sanding, and may use acetone or alcohol to remove stuck particles.
