About The Position

The Breakout production employee removes bagging materials and plaster from composite parts. Responsibilities include Using an impact hammer and other hand tools, removes plaster from inside of composite parts. Removes bagging materials from cured composite parts. Performs surface preparation, sanding, and may use acetone or alcohol to remove stuck particles.

Requirements

Ability to read and understand detailed instructions.
Intermediate to advanced math skills.
Capability to use hand and power tools applicable to trade.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; verbal and written.
Able to identify defective materials and parts.
Understanding of technology with the ability to learn new platforms and systems.
One year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities in a manufacturing environment preferred.
Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs.
Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending.
Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
Appropriate PPE must be worn by all employees when on the production floor.
