AEC Specialist

LightTable AI•Denver, CO
•$165,000 - $185,000

About The Position

LightTable is hiring an AEC Specialist to bring deep architecture, engineering, and construction expertise to customer discovery, solution design, pre-sales, pilots, and enterprise implementations. The role translates LightTable’s technical capabilities into measurable construction value and helps customers achieve productive project and portfolio outcomes. It works closely with Account Executives, Engagement Managers, Customer Support, Product, and Engineering. The Specialist leads the AEC side of customer pursuits, conducts deep-dive demonstrations and technical-readiness discussions, and establishes practitioner credibility. In partnership with the Account Executive and Engagement Manager, the role defines proof-of-concept and pilot strategy, including the customer problem, projects, use cases, stakeholders, workflows, baselines, and measurable success criteria. The Specialist owns backtests end to end, validates findings against customer experience, and presents results in terms that practitioners and economic buyers can use. During pilots, the Specialist works directly with end users across 3–5 live projects, delivers practice-specific training, and helps integrate LightTable into project review workflows. The role supports implementation by configuring workflows, turning pilot tuning into reusable standards and enablement materials, and supporting adoption as programs roll out across offices. It may also support renewals and expansions, owns findings quality on assigned accounts, and serves as a conduit between customer-facing teams and Product and Engineering by documenting product gaps alongside the drawings that exposed them. The role reports to the VP of AEC and is part of the Go to Market team. The Account Executive owns the commercial relationship; the AEC Specialist leads on questions about the product and drawings. Success measures include credible practitioner relationships, accepted and accurate backtest findings, pilot commitments and adoption, successful enterprise conversions, actionable product feedback, customer champions able to onboard teams, and timely, high-quality implementation delivery.

  • Ability to train practitioners, facilitate groups, and change how teams work.
  • Ability to translate technical findings into clear business value and present to practitioners and executives.
