About The Position

CareerPoint Staffing is a boutique AEC staffing firm established in 2010, specializing in placing professionals in Architecture, Engineering, Construction, MEP, CAD/BIM, and related disciplines. This recruiting-focused position is based in Nomad, Manhattan, and is hybrid, with Fridays working from home. The recruiter sources, screens, and qualifies candidates for active openings and presents qualified candidates to Head Recruiters. The role does not include client development or client contact. The company offers the opportunity to take on greater responsibility and advance as the recruiter demonstrates their capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of recruiting experience in the AEC industry.
• Experience recruiting engineers, architects, construction professionals, MEP, CAD/BIM, or related technical talent.
• Strong sourcing and interviewing skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, persistent, and detail-oriented.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter and an ATS.

Responsibilities

• Source AEC professionals through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, the internal database, referrals, and other channels.
• Review resumes and conduct initial phone screens.
• Qualify candidates based on experience, technical skills, compensation, availability, and career goals.
• Present qualified candidates to Head Recruiters.
• Maintain an active pipeline of AEC candidates.
• Keep candidate information and recruiting activity up to date in the ATS.
• Manage multiple searches and priorities at the same time.
