About The Position

Theory and practice of advertising and sales promotion in the context of the integrated marketing communications field. Focus on the strategy and tactics of creative and media decisions in advertising.

Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in advertising, integrated marketing communication, or marketing.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience in advertising, integrated marketing communication, or marketing.
  • Must have university-level teaching experience, preferably in the area of the course.
  • An acceptable level of education and/or experience could be viewed as being equivalent to the educational required and/or demonstrated experience.
  • Employees are required under provincial law to successfully complete all mandatory legislated training.

Nice To Haves

  • PhD preferred.
  • University-level teaching experience, preferably in the area of the course.
  • Understanding of advertising and promotion in both digital and non-digital delivery is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Advertising and Sales Promotion Management (ADM3326B) during the Fall 2026 semester.
  • Deliver instruction in person.
  • Potentially adapt teaching methods due to health measures or other reasons.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
