About The Position

Theory and practice of advertising and sales promotion in the context of the integrated marketing communications field. Focus on the strategy and tactics of creative and media decisions in advertising.

Requirements

  • Must have an MBA or Master's degree (PhD preferred) in advertising, integrated marketing communication, or marketing.
  • Must demonstrate recent professional experience in advertising, integrated marketing communication, or marketing.
  • Must have university-level teaching experience, preferably in advertising and promotion.
  • Competence in a second language (Passive).

Nice To Haves

  • PhD in advertising, integrated marketing communication, or marketing.
  • Understanding of advertising and promotion in both digital and non-digital delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Advertising and Sales Promotion Management (ADM3326 Section A) during the 2026 Fall Semester.
  • Deliver the course online (synchronous live).
  • Potentially adapt teaching methods due to health measures or other reasons.
  • Complete all mandatory legislated training as required by provincial law.
