About The Position

WCBI-TV/DT is seeking a Strategic Market Consultant to develop and cultivate new business in the Golden Triangle and surrounding areas. This role involves growing existing business by selling marketing solutions that produce measurable results across WCBI (CBS), FOX, My Mississippi, local events, and online digital marketing through a full-service digital agency. The Strategic Marketing Consultant will leverage a suite of effective digital marketing and Broadcast TV products and services, working collaboratively with the sales department to achieve management-set goals and strategies. This is a base plus commission position where individual growth is determined by personal success. It is not a remote or hybrid role; daily presence at the station in Columbus, MS is expected. The position requires daily client interaction to discuss business growth strategies and demonstrate how television and digital products can address client challenges. Media sales experience is not required, and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply. Pre-employment background checks are mandatory. Requirements

Must be driven to succeed
Experience in dealing with people and building professional relationships
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
PowerPoint, Word and Excel proficiency highly desirable
Be a quick learner in a fast-paced environment
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Have the ability to ask questions and overcome objections
