Advanced Practice Provider (PA or FNP)
About The Position
Epic Health is hiring a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for its multi-specialty practice in Metro Detroit. The role is expected to support the launch of the Warren location, with an anticipated start in November or December 2026. Candidates may also be considered for other Metro Detroit locations. This is an on-site, patient-centered clinical role focused on delivering care across stages of life. The schedule during training is Monday through Friday, with eight-hour shifts. After training, there is an option to transition to a four-day, 10-hour schedule. The position works collaboratively with physicians and supervises technicians and assistants. Background checks are required.
Requirements
- Current Michigan Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner licensure.
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Commitment to patient care, continued learning, and compassionate care.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt while keeping patient outcomes central.
- Background check required.
Nice To Haves
- Two to five years of experience in primary care and pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Examine patients, collect health histories, and evaluate physical conditions to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
- Prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval and coordinate care and comprehensive treatment plans.
- Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory work.
- Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventive care.
- Perform procedures including injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
- Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants.
