About The Position

Epic Health is seeking a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to join its multi-specialty practice in the Metro Detroit area. The role delivers patient-centered care across the lifespan in a fast-paced clinical environment. The primary location is South Lyon, Michigan, with potential consideration for other Metro Detroit locations; a preferred location may be requested during screening but cannot be guaranteed. During training, the schedule is Monday through Friday in eight-hour shifts. After training, there is an option to transition to a four-day, ten-hour schedule. The position requires Michigan PA or FNP licensure and a related master's degree. Experience in primary care and pediatrics is preferred. Background checks are required.

Requirements

Michigan PA or FNP licensure.
Master's degree in a related field.
Ability to provide patient care with compassion and a commitment to continued learning.
Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to adapt while keeping patient outcomes central.

Nice To Haves

2–5 years of experience in primary care and pediatrics.

Responsibilities

Examine patients, gather health histories, and evaluate physical conditions to inform diagnoses and treatment decisions.
Collaborate with physicians, prescribe therapy or medications with physician approval, and coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
Administer and interpret diagnostic tests, including x-rays, EKGs, and laboratory work.
Counsel patients on health regimens, growth and development, family planning, and preventive care.
Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and immunizations.
Supervise and coordinate technicians and assistants.
