NP PA - Advanced Practice Provider - Ortho Walk-In Services
About The Position
As an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in Orthopedic Medicine, you will join a collaborative team dedicated to high-quality, compassionate care and an exceptional patient experience. You will work alongside established orthopedic surgeons and APPs, caring for patients at Rocky Mountain Orthopedic Clinic’s Orthopedic Walk-In Services in Grand Junction, Colorado. The role is PRN, with flexible scheduling of up to 20 hours per week. Scheduled clinic hours are 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. The position involves evaluating and treating orthopedic injuries and conditions and performing minor procedures. New graduates will not be considered.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of direct clinical orthopedic experience.
- Strong procedural skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.
- APRN or PA-C degree from an accredited program.
- Active, unobstructed Colorado license, or ability to obtain one.
- BLS certification and DEA.
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.
- New graduates will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Provide care during scheduled clinic hours at Rocky Mountain Orthopedic Clinic.
- Evaluate and treat a range of orthopedic injuries and conditions.
- Perform minor procedures, including reductions, joint injections, laceration repair and wound care, and splinting and casting.
