About The Position

The Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA-C) evaluates, manages, and treats patients in a medical office setting. The role works under the direction of a collaborating Physician and other supervising Physicians, interpreting patient data as authorized and consulting with a physician as appropriate. The provider collaborates with physicians and other members of the healthcare team to support optimal patient care.

Its clinical program spans urology, gastroenterology, and radiation oncology, with ancillary services including pathology lab, in-office dispensing, and chronic care management. Requirements

• Current NP or PA-C license.
• Master's degree in a Nursing or Physician Assistant program.
• Current BLS and CPR certification.
• A minimum of 2–5 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in a clinical setting.
• Knowledge of EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients, review medical history, and perform an appropriate physical exam in a medical office setting.
• Interpret and evaluate patient data as authorized by the physician to determine patient management and treatment, consulting with a physician as appropriate.
• Prescribe, recommend, and regulate appropriate pharmacologic medicine.
• Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
