This role involves independently evaluating and managing pediatric otolaryngology patients in an ambulatory clinic setting, with appropriate physician collaboration and supervision. The provider will perform history and physical examinations, diagnose common ENT conditions, and develop treatment plans. They will also order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures within their scope of practice, and identify patients requiring surgical evaluation, ensuring timely progression to surgery. Responsibilities include providing pre-operative and post-operative patient management and education, collaborating closely with attending surgeons to support flexible OR availability, and maintaining accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record. The role also supports department productivity and revenue goals, participates in patient and family education, care coordination, communication with referring providers, and contributes to quality improvement initiatives and departmental growth.
