About The Position
Advanced Urology Institute, powered by Urology Alliance, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join their team in Lecanto, FL. This role offers the advantages of advanced independent practice within a physician-led network that provides robust business and organizational support. The provider will deliver individualized patient care in both hospital and clinic settings, focusing on diagnosis, patient counseling, and continuing education. The position involves a mixed-model role combining outpatient clinic care with weekly inpatient rounding, with an average patient volume of 20-25 per day and no call requirements. The practice emphasizes a patient-first approach, physician leadership, and a true partnership model that reduces administrative burden, allowing providers to focus on patient care.
Requirements
- State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Urology experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician in both a hospital & clinic setting
- Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
- Counsel the patient and family on health and disease
- Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
- Work flexible schedule as dictated by business needs and operations
- Perform other duties as assigned
