About The Position

Join one of the largest physician-owned, multi-specialty practices in the Southeast and enjoy the opportunity to practice in a collaborative outpatient setting just minutes from the North Carolina coast. At Wilmington Health, our Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine team provides comprehensive care with the support of an integrated healthcare system, strong specialist collaboration, and a patient-centered culture that has served our community for more than 50 years. This is an outpatient Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine focused practice with a balanced schedule designed to support quality patient care. The position offers a full-time, Monday-Friday schedule with standard clinic hours of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, and no office call responsibilities. There is a potential opportunity to participate in a hospital rounding rotation. The role benefits from an established referral base from a large primary care network and a collaborative team environment with physician and specialty support, offering a coastal lifestyle with excellent work-life balance.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible North Carolina licensure.
• Strong communication and patient-centered care skills.

Nice To Haves

• Pulmonary, Sleep Medicine, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, or related experience.
• New graduates with relevant clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care in an outpatient Pulmonary & Sleep Medicine setting.
• Manage established/follow-up Pulmonary Visits (20 minutes per patient).
• Manage Sleep Medicine Follow-Ups (20 minutes per patient).
• See new patient referrals (40 minutes per patient).
• See approximately 20 patients per day.
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists.
• Participate in hospital rounding rotation (potential opportunity).
