About The Position

As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the IMC, you will contribute to compassionate, patient-centered care under the guidance of a registered nurse. You will perform advanced clinical tasks and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected. The role includes observing patients, documenting and communicating changes to the nursing team, supporting daily living needs, performing specified advanced care tasks, and assisting with lab collection and clerical duties. You will anticipate patient needs and respond promptly to support a smooth, compassionate care experience.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate observations to the nursing team.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely.
• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and wound care.
• Collect lab samples and assist with clerical duties to support care delivery.
• Anticipate patients’ needs and respond quickly to help ensure a seamless, compassionate experience.
