About The Position

As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT) at Medical City Alliance, you will contribute to compassionate, patient-centered care under the guidance of a registered nurse. You will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected. The role includes observing patients and reporting changes, assisting with activities of daily living, providing specified clinical care, and supporting laboratory and clerical tasks. You will anticipate patient needs and respond promptly to help ensure a seamless and compassionate experience.

Requirements

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• One of the following credentials: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A), Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT), or Certified ECG/EKG Technician (EKG).
• Six months of experience required.
• No travel required.

Responsibilities

• Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them to the nursing team.
• Help patients with activities of daily living, including eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely.
• Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removal of IV lines and catheters, and wound care.
• Collect laboratory samples and assist with clerical duties to support care delivery.
• Anticipate patient needs and respond quickly to support a seamless, compassionate patient experience.
