About The Position

As an Advanced Patient Care Technician (PCT), you will be an important part of delivering compassionate, patient-centered care. Under the guidance of a registered nurse, you will perform advanced clinical tasks and help create a safe, welcoming environment where patients and families feel valued and respected. The position supports patients in the NICU and involves observing and documenting patient changes, assisting with daily needs, providing advanced care, and helping with tasks that keep care running smoothly.

Requirements

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
At least 1 year of experience is required.
No travel required.

Responsibilities

Observe patients, document changes, and communicate them to the nursing team.
Help patients with activities of daily living, including eating, drinking, bathing, and moving safely.
Provide advanced care, including phlebotomy, telemetry monitoring, removing IV lines and catheters, and wound care.
Collect lab samples and assist with clerical duties.
Anticipate patient needs, respond quickly, and help ensure a seamless and compassionate experience.
