Our award winning Executive Pastry Chef Ned Archibald is looking for an Intermediate Baker/Pastry Cook to join his team at the Keystone Conference Center. This position is responsible for producing all pastry, desserts, and breads as needed daily, including baking and bagging cookies for the front desk cookie giveaway program, producing all cakes, pies, and baked goods for banquet functions, and producing daily pies, biscuits, and ice cream for stable sleigh/hay rides as needed. The role requires following and adhering to all SOP’s and recipes as directed by the pastry chef, accurately measuring and weighing ingredients, and decorating occasion cakes. Additionally, the position involves producing all breakfast pastries for restaurants and banquet functions, participating in recycling and compost programs, and cleaning the bakery as needed, including floors, coolers, freezers, and equipment. Occasional washing of pots/dishes may be necessary. The role also includes participating and assisting in the set up of buffets in the Conference Center and all other Keystone locations, and training new employees as needed.
