About The Position
Community Care is seeking caring and motivated individuals to provide community integration for adults coping with mental health symptoms. The position provides case management consultation, teaches skills, develops strategies to make family life less stressful, and advocates for and coordinates service needs. These efforts aim to reduce cycles of instability in the lives of people affected by mental illness.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- MHRT/C certification; provisional certification level is acceptable.
- A total of one year of experience supporting adults with mental illness.
- Must be able to pass background checks, including DMV, CPS, APS, and criminal checks.
Responsibilities
- Provide community integration for adults coping with mental health symptoms.
- Provide case management consultation.
- Teach skills.
- Develop strategies to make family life less stressful.
- Advocate for and coordinate service needs.
