About The Position
Under the direction of the Director of College and Career Readiness, this part-time position serves as an instructor in the area of adult basic education, covering Reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Adjunct/part-time instructors are needed to teach face-to-face classes during the day, with potential for evening sections in the future. Requirements
- A combination of education and experience that aligns with the subject area of instruction.
- Experience teaching adult learners.
- Education less than an associate degree will not be considered.

Responsibilities
- Teach assigned day and/or evening classes.
- Provide lessons using a variety of instructional strategies aligned with the NC Adult Education Content Standards.
- Maintain and submit accurate attendance.
