About the position
The Adoption Engineer is responsible for optimizing adoption and utilization of ThousandEyes' technology through best practice recommendations. They will work closely with the Customer Success Specialist to serve as a post-sale technical consultant, ensuring the success of ThousandEyes customers. This role involves building and maintaining trusted advisor relationships with customers, identifying strategic initiatives and use cases, driving adoption through recommendations, and identifying new opportunities. The Adoption Engineer will also share customer feedback with the Product team and deliver product update sessions.
Responsibilities
- Proactively reach out to customers to build and maintain a trusted advisor relationship and create technical champions
- Collaborate with the Customer Success Specialist and Sales team on account strategy
- Identify customer strategic initiatives and potential use cases
- Engage with customers to drive adoption through best practice recommendations and increase the value ThousandEyes delivers to their business
- Actively identify new and expansion opportunities
- Share customer feedback and improvement requests with the Product team
- Deliver product updates sessions highlighting new capabilities that have been released
Requirements
- 3+ years of Technical Support, Solutions Engineering, Professional Services or similar technical customer facing roles
- Strong desire to learn and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of network infrastructures, cloud technologies, and application frameworks
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Perl, JavaScript)
- Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills
- English and Spanish are required
- Portuguese and additional languages are highly desirable
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
