Admissions Specialist - Eddy Center (Middletown)
About The Position
The Admissions Specialist supports the daily operations of the Eddy Center, a transitional 24-hour residential program providing supervision and support to men under Parole supervision as they re-enter the community. The role includes orienting new clients to the program and completing initial intake paperwork, including required assessments. The successful candidate uses a strengths-based, client-centered approach and can balance structure and compassion while maintaining professional, respectful boundaries. Experience working with people in recovery and/or people involved in the justice system is identified as ideal. The position is located at the LaBella Campus in Middletown, Connecticut. It is full-time, 40 hours per week. The listed schedule is Monday, 2:30–10:30 p.m.; Tuesday and Wednesday, 7 a.m.–3 p.m.; and Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. Newly hired employees must attend a two-day New Hire Orientation at the Roscommon office in Middletown.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or a high school diploma/GED and four years of related experience.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Ability to maintain professional and respectful boundaries while being structured and compassionate.
