About The Position

Obtains accurate demographic, financial, and clinical information and enters it into the computer system to create medical and financial records. Applies financial guidelines to determine and collect patient liability. Performs other assigned duties, including health screening.

The role registers patients accurately, efficiently, and professionally to maintain database integrity and facilitate claims processing. It applies financial screening guidelines to ensure proper procedures are followed when obtaining upfront collections for the facility, and helps expedite patient flow through prompt, courteous service. The scheduled shift is 11 p.m. to 7 a.m.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of business experience.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in standard English in written and oral/verbal formats to achieve productivity and efficiency.
• Write legibly and record information accurately as needed for job duties.
• Basic computer skills and ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
• Type at least 25 words per minute.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to speak clearly, articulate, and be understood.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of business experience in a healthcare environment.
• Associate degree or 2 years of college-level courses.
• CHAA licensure or certification.
