About The Position

Southwest Healthcare Inland Valley Hospital in Wildomar, California, is a licensed 122-bed facility accredited by the Joint Commission, the county’s designated Trauma Center, and a county-designated Paramedic Base Station. Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs Hospital in Murrieta, California, is a 120-bed acute-care hospital with specialized pediatric emergency services, an OB/Emergency Department program, a large childbirth center, and a neonatal intensive care unit. As an Admissions Representative/Registrar, you provide support expertise and contribute to excellence in patient care and customer service. You admit patients by gathering and recording physician, patient, and payment responsibility information; answering questions; and providing information about the hospital and its services. You follow regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies and demonstrate behaviors consistent with Southwest Healthcare’s core values and mission. You may be required to float between Rancho Springs Hospital and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs; appropriate orientation and competency validation will be provided.

Requirements

High school diploma.
One year of experience in a hospital admitting or medical business office.

Nice To Haves

Computer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Gather and record physician, patient, and payment responsibility information to admit patients.
Answer questions and provide information about the hospital and its services.
Practice in accordance with regulatory, professional, legal, and hospital policies.
Demonstrate behaviors that model Southwest Healthcare’s core values and the hospital’s mission.
Float to the other facility within Southwest Healthcare Rancho Springs and Inland Valley Hospital based on operational needs, when required.
