About The Position

The Admissions Rep/Registrar greets and registers incoming patients and their representatives, ensuring that required admission information is accurately recorded and processed while maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines. The role supports the operational efficiency of healthcare service delivery and requires attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to handle the demands of a dynamic healthcare environment. The position is per diem at the ER at West Craig, an extension of the hospital's existing Emergency Department in northwest Las Vegas.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least two years of hands-on experience in a hospital registration setting or urgent care preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of patient admission processes.
• Computer proficiency, including word processing and patient accounting systems.
• HIPAA and PCI compliance required.
• Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate service.
