About The Position

Valley Forge Medical Center is seeking a compassionate, driven Registered Nurse to support people and families affected by addiction. The Admissions RN contributes to the admission process by performing nursing procedures and assessments, completing required tests, and accurately entering medical records.

Requirements

• Current Pennsylvania Professional Nursing license in good standing.
• Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

• Additional education in addiction treatment.
• Experience in addiction treatment.

Responsibilities

• Draw blood and take vital signs.
• Conduct nursing assessments.
• Administer EKGs.
• Perform body mapping for wounds and track marks.
• Conduct TB tests, urine drug screens, pregnancy tests, and alcohol breathalyzer tests.
• Enter medical records to support a smooth and organized hospital admission process.
