Admissions Evaluator, Office of Admissions and Records - Multiple Positions
About The Position
Under the direct supervision of the Associate Director of Admissions, the Admissions Evaluator will review, analyze and evaluate student records (primarily transcripts & test scores) to determine academic credit for purposes of admission, compute applicant GPA’s; determine admission eligibility and completion of conditional admission requirements; perform data input into student information system (PeopleSoft) of applicant information. This position is to fill multiple hourly, temporary, non-exempt positions ending on or before 180 days from hire date. Reappointment to this position is dependent upon the individual's performance as well as administrative and budgetary considerations. The university reserves the right to terminate this appointment earlier than the scheduled expiration date.
Requirements
- Must have satisfactory completion of a background check (including criminal records check)
- Must be a 'mandated reporter' under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 Revised July 21, 2017 as a condition of employment.
- Applicants will be required to disclose whether they have received a final administrative decision or final judicial decision determining that they have committed sexual harassment within the last 7 years only after a determination is made that they meet the minimum qualifications for the position, and before an offer of employment is extended.
- Applicants who reach the final stages of the application process must also sign a release form that authorizes the release of information by the applicant's current and/or former employers to the CSU concerning any substantiated allegations of misconduct.
