About The Position

This position will conduct credential evaluations, analyze student records, and serve as a specialist in the area of transfer credit evaluation. The incumbent will learn University and academic policies and be able to communicate in person and/or by phone with students, parents, faculty advisors, counselors, chairs, and deans.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of coursework in any discipline (30 semester hours) OR one (1) year of work experience in administrative support, admissions and enrollment, customer service, public relations, records management, or closely related experience.

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of all past and present University policies and State of Illinois teacher certification requirements pertaining to the awarding of degrees and certificate programs.
Knowledge of University structure, including the functions of the various positions.
Ability to read and interpret transcripts and catalogs from other schools and communicate in understandable terms all University policies and procedures.
Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access.
Ability to organize competing priorities in order to complete work by the deadlines.
Ability to work under pressure yet maintain and express a positive attitude.
