Admissions Coordinator
About The Position
Four Winds Hospital in Westchester is seeking an Admissions Coordinator for its admissions team. The role offers experience learning about child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry. The position involves communicating with psychiatric patients, their families, referents, and emergency rooms, and learning to use an electronic medical record. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with weekends as needed. The starting hourly rate is $20.50, including the evening differential; higher pay may be available with certification in bilingual language proficiency.
Requirements
- Two years of college, including courses in Psychology and English.
- Strong people skills.
- Computer skills, including the ability to learn an electronic medical record.
Nice To Haves
- Hospital experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certification in bilingual language proficiency may provide opportunities for higher pay.
