About The Position

Chatterbox Pediatric Therapy Center is currently seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to fill the position of Admissions and Intake Specialist. We proudly offer speech-language, occupational, and physical therapy services in a fun, family-centered environment.
As an admissions and intake specialist you will be responsible for managing incoming referrals and the registration process of clients including gathering patient information, obtaining applicable insurance information from parents and scheduling evaluations for therapy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of customer-facing experience in a professional environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor in fast-paced environment
• Highly organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, track information accurately, and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel

Nice To Haves

• Experience working in a healthcare setting handling patient experience
• Experience with new patient registration is preferred
• Experience in a medical or healthcare setting preferred
• Some college education a plus (Associate’s degree or higher)
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems preferred
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and familiarity with medical terminology preferred
