About The Position

The Admission RN conducts admission services for potential patients and families consistent with the goals, definitions, philosophy, and purpose of HIA Health. The role provides the initial patient admission and physical assessment for patients being admitted to HIA Hospice Services, identifies and coordinates initial medication and equipment needs, and completes the initial plan of care for each admission. This is a full-time, exempt, benefit-eligible position based out of the Fargo office. HIA Health is a drug-free workplace; an accepted offer requires a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as conditions of employment.

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota and Minnesota.
• 3–5+ years of nursing experience.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally.
• Experience in hospice, home care, or end-of-life care.
• Background in outreach, education, or healthcare marketing.
• Strong public speaking and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to complete a drug screen and pre-employment background screening as conditions of employment.

Nice To Haves

• Hospice, palliative care, or long-term care nursing experience is preferred.
