About The Position

Launch Your Leadership Career in Long-term Care. Are you ready to grow into a confident, capable healthcare leader? Our Administrator in Training (AIT) Program offers a structured, hands on pathway to becoming a licensed Administrator. You’ll be mentored by a seasoned, high performing Administrator and gain the operational, clinical, and leadership skills needed to guide a facility to excellence. The AIT will work directly under an experienced Administrator to learn all aspects of facility operations, leadership, and regulatory compliance. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about quality care, strong team culture, and operational success. You’ll develop the knowledge and confidence to lead a skilled nursing facility in alignment with state and federal regulations.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret financial records and operational reports
  • Proficiency in core competency areas, including patient rights, safety, and sanitation
  • Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and strong communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Uphold policies related to patient care, staff support, financial controls, and public relations while learning to manage budgets and meet facility and division goals.
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and homelike environment for residents
  • Delivering excellent customer service with a positive, solutions focused attitude
  • Supporting a healthy, respectful work culture for staff
  • Communicating effectively with the interdisciplinary team (IDT)
