About The Position

We are looking for an Administration Support Associate to join our team in Toronto, ON on a 16-month contract. The Administrative Support Associate is responsible for delivering quality support to our New Business Insurance Operations team. They are expected to manage incoming applications, handle accounting and billing adjustment, and work with directly team members, clients, and advisors to ensure the smooth operation of the rest of the team. The successful candidate will have an interest in growing a career in life and health insurance, bringing strong attention to detail and customer focused experience.

Requirements

  • 5 years life and health and insurance administration
  • Administration experience
  • Mainframe and web application
  • Microsoft Office
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Attention to detail, high degree of organization
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the processing of incoming applications for insurance and assessing underwriting requirements, if applicable.
  • Manage all accounting and/or billing adjustments and process premium refunds and charges.
  • Handle all policy and client updates.
  • Correspond directly with Plan Sponsors, clients and advisors via email / telephone in regards to policy inquiries and follow ups, terminations.
  • Assist Team members with special projects.
