This role will support programs within the Department of Curriculum & Instruction, assisting program coordinators and providing support to current and potential students regarding program admissions, enrollment, inquiries, and communication. The Administrative Specialist III will also collaborate with the Administrative Supervisor and program coordinators to schedule courses for assigned programs. Essential duties include regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance, and the ability to foster positive working relationships.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least one year of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.
  • At least one year of work experience in an office setting.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe.
  • Experience with University of Arkansas systems (e.g., Workday, Blackboard).
  • Knowledge of University policy and procedures.
  • Ability to problem solve independently.
  • Ability to problem solve in a team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office work.
  • Provide support to faculty, staff, and students.
  • Communicate with on-campus and external units.
  • Support programs within the department by working with program coordinators.
  • Assist current and potential students with program admissions, enrollment, inquiries, and communication.
  • Work with the Administrative Supervisor and program coordinators to schedule courses for assigned programs.
