Administrative Specialist II (Columbus County) -- Temporary
About The Position
This temporary Administrative Specialist II position is located at the Department of Adult Correction at 4600 Swamp Fox Hwy, Tabor City, Columbus County, North Carolina. The role involves preparing reports related to inventory levels, equipment specifications, offender incidents, incentive wage payroll, and production schedules. Pay is hourly and based on education and/or relevant work experience reflected on the application. This temporary position does not offer leave or retirement benefits. Temporary employees averaging 30 or more hours per week annually may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High Deductible Health Plan. Permanent or time-limited North Carolina State Government employees must separate from their current position to accept a temporary position, and temporary employees may hold only one State temporary assignment at a time.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED and four years of related administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Candidates hired into a temporary State job must be fully qualified for the job.
