About The Position

This is a temporary position with the Department of Health and Human Services, located at 3301 Terminal Drive, Raleigh, NC 27604- Wake County. The role involves providing a solid Human Resource management foundation, responsible oversight, and creative solutions through a collaborative approach with all stakeholders to maximize the potential of our greatest asset – OUR EMPLOYEES. Requirements

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Fully qualified for the job.

Responsibilities

• Answer a high volume of calls.
• Work independently to manage calls from claimants, schools, SSA Field offices, and others in the medical and legal communities.
• Communicate relevant information for each contact to the appropriate persons in accordance with Disability Contact Center guidelines.
• Assist in providing coverage for the DDS receptionist area as requested by the DCC supervisor.
• Demonstrate experience in written and oral communication with individuals from varying backgrounds.
• Demonstrate experience in switching between multiple tasks.
