About The Position

This is a temporary position with the Office of State Human Resources (OSHR) Temporary Solutions, classified as an Administrative Specialist I. The agency's mission is to provide a solid Human Resource management foundation, responsible oversight, and creative solutions through a collaborative approach with all stakeholders to maximize the potential of its employees. This specific temporary role is located at 1915 Health Services Way, Raleigh, NC 27607 in Wake County, with the Department of Health and Human Services. The position offers an hourly rate of $20.00, based on education and/or years of relevant work experience. Temporary employees may be eligible for health insurance coverage under the High-Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) if they work an annual average of 30 or more hours per week. This role provides an opportunity to gain valuable experience within state government, potentially enhancing qualifications for future permanent employment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must be fully qualified for the job.
  • Temporary employees are limited to one NC State Government temporary assignment at a time.
