About The Position

Under the general supervision of the Administrative Services Supervisor, this position supports administrative needs of Lakeland Care (LCI), by supporting LCI staff and processes for accurate entry and processing of electronic member records, supporting LCI general leadership with meeting notations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree, technical school, or equivalent combination of education and experience (includes knowledge, skills, and abilities).
  • Ability to maintain a calm, courteous and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft 365 and other business software applications with the ability to learn new technologies, navigate multiple systems simultaneously and adapt to evolving digital tools and processes.
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently with varying deadlines.
  • Proficiency in typing and data entry skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to operate a variety of office equipment.
  • Ability to maintain efficient filing systems.
  • Current driver’s license, acceptable driving record and proof of adequate insurance required.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with other data support work as needed within other LCI divisions. Examples may include entry of immunization data, gathering employment data, etc.
  • Support the transportation processes for LCI’s membership, specific to obtaining and mailing transportation tickets, passes, etc. based on pre-determined authorizations.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality concerning official LCI documents and member and employee records.
  • Produce results through timely decision making and strategic implementation and evaluation of programs and policies.
  • Train new employees in the Care Management division on administrative processes and support for data entry.
  • Assist with preparation of agendas, take minutes, and attend regular LCI Leadership Team Meetings.
  • Respond constructively to emotional situations, high pressure, and conflict.
  • Provide administrative support to Program Operations.
  • Provide backup administrative assistance on an as needed basis to the organization with tasks such as organizational projects and department specific initiatives.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of client information and protected health information as required by State and Federal regulations, including the Health Information Portability and Accountability (HIPAA) Act of 1996.
