About The Position

This position is located in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Administrative Programs Officer, Level I - E12A Annual salary: $41,019.00 + Full state benefits Job-related travel is Occasional. Must possess a valid driver's license. Plans, organizes, and/or directs a component of an agency or institutional program or a major division, program, or function established to accomplish a basic goal or mission of the agency. Interprets and applies policy and procedures, provides clear documentation, and independently performs complex tasks. Interprets and advises agency personnel and the general public on departmental rules, regulations, and laws governing the operation of the agency, division or department program. Plans, develops, and conducts training, seminars, meetings, or clinics as required; represents the agency at meetings, seminars, and conferences. Participates in individual and staff conferences and trainings. Provides supervision or direction to assigned staff in planning, promoting, and implementing programs in accordance with agency policies and goals. Demonstrates customer service, flexibility, and organizational skills while working in a fast-paced environment. Possess the ability to work on a diverse team and directly with people from diverse backgrounds specifically racial, ethnic, socioeconomic, and disabilities. OKDHS is a Fair Chance Employer. Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree and one (1) year of professional or technical administrative experience in business or public administration; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one (1) year of qualifying experience for each year of the required education.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
