About The Position

The Office of Human Resources is looking for an analytical and organized individual to provide support for the HR team. In this role, you will assist with many functions and tasks requiring a broad knowledge of the State Personnel Management System rules, regulations, and procedures. This position performs a multitude of functions, including but not limited to: Content editing and management, Compliance auditing, Answering inquiries from the public and internal stakeholders, Managing reports and employee files, And more! This role will support the team in the Office of Human Resources and serve as a point of contact for agency-wide employees. Employees in this role report directly to the Senior HR Business Partner. This position is hybrid-telework eligible after successful completion of training.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
  • One year of administrative staff or professional work.
  • Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
  • Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer involving staff work that included regular use of independent judgment and analysis in applying and interpreting complex administrative plans, policies, rules or regulations or analysis of operational programs or procedures with recommendations for improvement on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
  • For education obtained outside of the U.S., you will be required to provide proof of the equivalent American education as determined by a foreign credential evaluation service.
  • If you possess a degree obtained outside of the United States, please submit a detailed, course-by-course evaluation report from one of the U.S. equivalency evaluating members identified at http://www.naces.org/members.html.
  • All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship.
  • Candidates must be at least 18 years of age to be eligible for employment.
