About The Position

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Administrative Clerk to provide essential office and sales‑support coverage during an upcoming leave. This role requires someone who can step in quickly, learn fast, and confidently manage daily administrative operations in a busy manufacturing office. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities. Candidates must be able to commit fully to a contract assignment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of administrative or office support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience with filing, document management, and general clerical duties
  • Basic understanding of invoice processing and related data entry
  • Professional communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

  • Professionally answer and route inbound phone calls to appropriate departments
  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, including document preparation, updating records, and customer paperwork
  • Perform accurate data entry, including entering invoices and maintaining organized records
  • Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive or proprietary information
  • Organize and maintain both physical and electronic filing systems
  • Assist with general office organization, supply management, and basic correspondence
  • Provide clerical support such as copying, scanning, and routing documents
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager and office staff to support daily operations
  • Complete additional administrative tasks as assigned to meet business needs
