About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support both our office operations and finance/expense reporting functions. This role is approximately 30 hours per week and is hybrid, with a regular in-office presence required. The position is split evenly between office administrative support and expense reporting administration. Candidates should be located in close proximity to North Charleston, SC, to support frequent in-office needs. Training will be provided for all systems and processes. Success in this role is measured by accuracy, timeliness, organization, and reliability. This role is well-suited for someone seeking consistent part-time work (approximately 30 hours per week) and hands-on administrative experience, such as an early-career professional, intern, or an individual interested in building experience in office operations, finance administration, or government contracting environments.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks and priorities
  • Comfortable communicating professionally via email, phone, and in person
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in an office setting
  • Must be eligible and able to obtain a government CAC (Common Access Card)
  • Must be located in close proximity to North Charleston, SC

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Collect, scan, and organize expense receipts from multiple sources
  • Accurately enter expense data into Deltek Costpoint
  • Distinguish between allowable and unallowable charges
  • Communicate with travelers to resolve missing or incomplete documentation
  • Maintain organized digital and physical expense records
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and compliant submission of expense reports
  • Provide general office administrative support
  • Work from the office regularly during normal business hours
  • Receive, log, and help manage deliveries to the office
  • Prepare and ship technical equipment to internal teams as needed
  • Maintain organization of office supplies, equipment, and records
  • Support coordination between office staff and remote employees
