About The Position

The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (PUC) has an opening for an experienced Administrative Assistant within the Safety Division of the Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement. If you are highly motivated, detail-oriented, and have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, we invite you to join our Admin Team! The Safety Administrative Assistant for the Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement will primarily provide comprehensive assistance to the Safety Manager and inspectors within the Safety Division of the Bureau of Investigation and Enforcement (BIE). This role involves drafting letters, memoranda, reports, schedules, and other official correspondence, and preparing final versions for distribution. The position requires strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Adobe Acrobat. Additionally, the Administrative Assistant will coordinate logistics for the annual Safety Seminar and related training events, including vendor and hotel communication and attendee registration, and prepare seminar materials such as informational packets, flyers, and name tags.

Requirements

  • Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • You must meet the PA residency requirement.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
